چکیده
Objective: Ureteropelvic junction obstruction (UPJO) is a disease often diagnosed in childhood, but it can rarely be detected adults. Dismembered pyeloplasty the gold standard treatment method. In this study, we evaluated success of adult patients with UPJO. Material and Methods: We retrospectively reviewed data who underwent between January 2012 July 2021. Preoperative postoperative differential renal function (DRF), time required for clearance half radioisotope from pelvis (T1/2), presence symptoms, degree hydronephrosis, anteroposterior (AP) diameter pelvis, parenchymal thickness were compared. Results: A total 30 mean age 32.43±7.18 included study. No statistically significant difference was preoperative DRF (37.6±12.08 38±11.35, respectively) (p=0.775). 19 (63.33%) remained unchanged. 7 (23.33%) improved, 4 (13.34%) deteriorated. The AP grade hydronephrosis significantly improved after pyeloplasty. ratio T1/2>20 minutes decreased 83.33% to 26.67% (p=0.001). Before operation 26 (86.67%) symptomatic. After only 8 (26.67%) This change Conclusion: There improvements T1/2, hydronephrosis. Renal preserved surgery. Also, effective pain relief should recommended adults

Results of Pyeloplasty in patients with Ureteropelvic Junction Obstruction in Pediatric Surgery Center in Bandar Abbas
Introduction: Ureteropelvic junction obstruction (UPJO) is associated with inadequate urine drainage from renal pelvis into ureter. UPJO results from incomplete recanalization of proximal ureter during fetal period which finally leads to hydrostatic distention of renal pelvis and calyces. Diagnosis is based on clinical symptoms, ultrasound, and diuretic isotopic renogram. Various surgical metho...
متن کاملTransperitoneal laparoscopic pyeloplasty in the treatment of ureteropelvic junction obstruction
INTRODUCTION Laparoscopic pyeloplasty was first described by Schuessler. During the last decade, this technique has been developed in order to achieve the same results as open surgery, with lower rates of morbidity and complications. In this study we review our experience using laparoscopic pyeloplasty as the gold standard for the treatment of the ureteropelvic junction obstruction (UPJO). MA...

OBJECTIVES To present our initial experience with laparoscopic pyeloplasty and to evaluate the safety and short-term outcome of this technique in children. METHODS Thirteen kidney units in twelve children underwent laparoscopic dismembered pyeloplasty for the management of ureteropelvic junction obstruction (UPJO) at our institution between 2005 and 2008. Patient age at surgery was 18-177 mon...

OBJECTIVE We evaluated the improvement of hydronephrosis longitudinally after laparoscopic dismembered Anderson-Hynes pyeloplasty in adult patients with ureteropelvic junction obstruction. MATERIAL AND METHODS Sixteen patients underwent laparoscopic pyeloplasty at our institution between January 2006 and June 2012. Hydronephrosis was assessed by ultrasound and intravenous pyelography at 3, 6,...
متن کاملLaparoendoscopic Single-Site (LESS) Pyeloplasty for Horseshoe Ureteropelvic Junction Obstruction
BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVE Pyeloplasty in horseshoe kidneys can be challenging due to aberrant vasculature, renal malrotation, and ectopic location. Fewer than 20 cases of minimally invasive (MIS) pyeloplasty in horseshoe kidneys have been reported in the literature to date. We herein report the first 2 cases of laparoendoscopic single-site (LESS) pyeloplasty for UPJ obstruction in horseshoe kid...
